Step Wedges
Step wedge specification : material carbon steel, 7 steps, these steps are 1, 1.5, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10mm and 20mm on the side. 20mm x 20mm steps. Step wedges are used for ultrasonic thickness calibration.
V2 Calibration Blocks
V2 block specification : material carbon steel, width 25mm, 1.5mm ⌀ hole with certificate and case. V2 blocks are mainly used for ultrasonic angle probe calibration. They can also be used for ultrasonic thickness calibration.
Ultrasonic calibration blocks are made from material similar to the test object. The goal is to set up the instrument with the same ultrasonic velocity as the test object. If this is achieved more accurate measurements of depth, defect size and location can be made.
